Looking for an exciting opportunity to join the Powerhouse Cheer family? Our Half Year Cheer Team is the perfect way to build skills, make new friends, gain confidence, and experience competitive cheerleading without the full-year commitment.

Running from November through early April, our half year team delivers all the thrill and growth of competitive cheer with less time demand, lower costs, and affordable uniforms.
Ages 7–16 welcome
Whether your athlete is brand new to cheer or has years of mat time, we welcome all experience levels and coach every child to their full potential.
Sunday practice schedule
Enjoy a balanced schedule with regular weekly practices every Sunday from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at our Shelby Township facility.
Lower travel and cost
Experience competitive cheer with minimal travel, budget-friendly uniform packages, and an accessible schedule designed for busy families.
Everything you need for evaluation day
Join us on November 1st from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at 50169 Hayes Rd., Shelby Twp., MI. The evaluation fee is only $20 per athlete, payable by cash or card at the door.
Skill building and team confidence
Our passionate coaching staff focuses on developing core cheer fundamentals—including stunting, tumbling, jumps, and routine performance—in an encouraging and safe environment. Athletes gain self-esteem, master new techniques, and create lasting friendships alongside their teammates.
